BMW: Connected driving

BMW is known as a company that does a lot of innovations. The designers at BMW try to develop a car that is perfect suited to there customers. BMW wants to personalize the car more then ever. They want to make there customers more connected to the car. BMW has created several new services that are called Connected driving. There are two main innovations and these are: BMW assist and BMW online.

BMW assist is an informations service based on a call center. In the car there will be a button witch will connect you with the call center. The call center is able to help you with several things as finding a good restaurant or finding an other location where you are going to. The call center will also assist you when there is an problem somewhere. When there is an accident the call center will help you, they will locate the incident and they can see how bad the problem is so that they can ask for the right help that is needed for the accident.

With the BMW online BMW wants to personalize the car more and more. One of these features is the personalized radio. The personalized radio will make you able to select your own music by downloading it to your car. This is not the only thing that you can download to your car. BMW also made it possible that you can download personal information as news items, weather reports and emails. Of course Google can not be missed. BMW and Google maps are working together to create a system that will be able to send every location that you find on the web to your navigation system in your car.

The new services that BMW has created is available in every new BMW modal. BMW is already thinking of new services as downloading services like I-tunes for in the car and movies. As I said BMW does this because they want there customers to be more connected with the car. They want to let the people know that the car is there second home. With these new innovations BMW will have a better position in the automotive industries because they are the first one who created these new features.
